Pasteboard Setup

If some layout requires more storage space for unused objects or comments outside the page area, than InDesign offers you by default, you can enlarge the pasteboard manually. Go to Pages panel menu or Layout -> Pages menu and choose Pasteboard Setup

The standard size of pasteboard represents the minimal values. If the values you enter are smaller than the minimum needed to display pages correctly, the pasteboard will retain the minimal size. Your settings will be stored though, and applied in case you'd change all the page sizes to allow for your pasteboard size settings to be applied.
