"Serial number is unknown" error message 1

After purchase, it takes the serial number up to 15 minutes to be recognized by all the activation servers. If you've just purchased your license, please allow at least 15 minutes of propagation time.

"Serial number is unknown" error message 2

The serial number can be typed incorrectly. Please check the number and try again. The safest is to copy paste the number from your order confirmation e-mail. A common error is mistaking zero character for O . Only zero is used in our serial numbers, never O.

"Serial number is unknown" error message 3

In rare cases, this problem can be caused by firewall settings on Mac OS X. Fastest workaround is manual activation. Choose activate in your product menu the same way as when you were trying to activate previously, but this time with the computer not connected to the internet. Fill in the serial number and hit activate. Activation dialog will warn you, that you need to be connected to the internet. Ignore this and click continue, until you are offered to Activate manually using different computer. Than you will obtain your installation ID, which you will enter either on this website: http://store2.esellerate.net/store/support/ManualActivation.aspx or you can simply reconnect your computer to the internet and follow the link in the dialog. After entering the installation ID you will obtain Activation key, which will activate your DTP Tools product.

"Activation limit exceeded" error message

Our products come with a standard activation limit of 2 activations per license, which will cover for activation of plug-in on your workstation and laptop or home computer. There is also 1 permitted reinstallation, in case either of the installations is lost. If you need to reinstall or activate more, please send us e-mail with your order number, or serial number you need the activation increase for. To prevent this problem, please always de-activatre the plug-in before uninstalling by enterring the serial number in DTP Tools > Transfer Activation dialog.

"An error occured during the product activation" error message

This problem can be caused by a missing eSellerate component, which provides the activations. This would happen if you only copied the plug-in or XTensions in the host application's folder instead of installing it using our installer. Please reinstall the product using installer downloaded from our website.
